ARTTEC is the first of its kind career training program that pairs high school students with highly acclaimed entertainment industry professionals for real hands-on job experience on world-class productions in film, television, and music. Students learn by working with industry veterans and celebrity mentors on actual productions that are designed for national public release. Productions fall into the genres of Music Videos, Feature Films, Live Music Concerts, and Live Television.
The purpose of ARTTEC is to educate, inspire, and entertain while providing art related experiences for the community and industry relevant career skills for students.
What We Do
We offer production opportunities for high school students and their professional mentors to work together in a mutually beneficial work environment. Students are given the tools to develop skills and gain valuable experience. Mentors get to “pay it forward” as they share their vast knowledge and experience with students in a meaningful and rewarding exchange.
Who Can Participate
ARTTEC is open to any motivated high school student and is available across the country. The skills developed through ARTTEC prepare students for opportunities in any occupation, provide career experience, and instill the self confidence needed to give a competitive edge in job interviews, scholarship applications, and college entrance.
Service organizations, nonprofits, and businesses work together with motivated high school students to form local crews, bringing career opportunities to teens and professional entertainment productions to their community.
ARTTEC is supported by Entertainment Industry Professionals, Celebrity Mentors, Education Leaders, and Community Supporters, all of whom share a commitment to provide real-world opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, refine occupational techniques, collaborate with professional colleagues, and acquire life experiences.
