Red Eye 24 Hour Film Competition

Lights, Camera, Action! With only 24 hours to film, edit, and upload a film, teams across the country will push the limits of their creativity. A “generic script” will be posted here at 6 AM on Saturday May 24th (the link will not work until 6 AM on Saturday May 24). Registered teams will have 24 hours to film their interpretation of the script, adding only one line of dialogue at the end. Submissions must be received by 6 AM the following day.

All films will be reviewed by acclaimed filmmakers and top winners will be invited to screen their films at the ARTTEC Festival of the Arts. Winners will also receive prizes including Adobe Premiere CC software, B&H gift certificate, all expense paid trip to the ARTTEC Low Budget Film Workshop, and an ARTTEC Crew Scholarship. All participants will receive a certificate of completion from ARTTEC. Entry is FREE to all high school students and ARTTEC Crew Members.
