Once again Smash Mouth rocks an ARTTEC production!
This weekend Smash Mouth headlined the Teresa Glover Benefit Concert which helped raise over $20,000 for a local Morgan Hill woman who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Local residents and friends of Teresa, Pam Cummins St. Cloud and Lisa Allman, coordinated a raffle and silent auction at the event, which included gift baskets and donated items from local businesses and residents of Morgan Hill. 100% of all proceeds from the event were donated directly to Teresa. The all-day concert featured many local artists who donated their time in support of Teresa, Smash Mouth was among those bands. Altogether, over 50 people in the community helped make this event happen which goes hand-in-hand with the theme of the event, “Because She Is One of Us”. The theme was chosen because this event wasn’t just about one person, this was about an entire community coming together for a cause because she is one of us.
Before performing, Steve Harwell of Smash Mouth presented Teresa with a guitar that was signed by each of the artists who performed, as well as everyone who helped to coordinate the event.
